People are genuinely getting Meghan Markle freckles tattooed on their faces
This is a lot.
We’ve known for a while that geg item of clothing that Meghan Markle turns to gold, whether it’s one of those in-demand Meghan Markle coats or anything from her favourite fashion brands. However, we never anticipated that people would get some permanent ink of the new royal – but here we are. People are genuinely getting Meghan Markle-inspired freckles tattooed onto their face and well, whatever makes you happy we guess.
Fake freckles have been a big beauty trend for a little while and we’ve seen them all over Instagram (don’t even get us started on the number of fake freckles beauty tutorials there are on YouTube at the moment). That said, cosmetic tattoo artist Gabrielle Rainbow in the US has noticed that after the royal wedding she’s been ‘crazy busy’ with freckle tattoo appointments and that it ‘boosted customers interest in the whole idea of freckles’.
In an interview withNew Beauty, she said, ‘I think cosmetic tattooing or permanent makeup is really on the rise, and obviously with any trend, you will have people who will want to take advantage of that.’
We didn’t even realise you could get freckles tattooed onto your face, but it’s a real thing. Apparently, the treatment takes about an hour and the semi-permanent treatment will last up to three years.
